After western troops pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021, thousands of Afghans fled the country taken back by the Talibans. Albania is one of the transit countries for these refugees, before they move for final settlement in the United States. During their stay (usually from 2 to 6 months), different NGOs offer them shelter, integration in schools and psychological support.
Liasing with Emiranda Jahya, clinical psychologist working for such NGOs, we will send books to assist their work in group therapy for the refugees.
