Native from Cambodia, Julie was educated in France where she worked as a research geophysicist, leading international multidisciplinary projects and teams. She has seated at the technical committee of Geoscientists Without Borders association (disaster and humanitarian relief).
She is also a licensed practitioner of sophro-analysis in expanded state of consciousness, at the crossroad of psychology and spirituality.
She recently founded the Angkor Institute of Consciousness to share and enrich our understanding of human being, so as to inspire a greater wisdom in our lives. Dean of the Royal University of Phnom-Penh and the Faculty of Medecine at the University of Health Sciences, Professor KA has rebuilt psychiatry discipline and mental care capacity in Cambodia after surviving the decimation of Khmer doctors during the genocide.
He is the Director of the National Mental Health Program. His approach in post-war country integrates psychiatry, cognitive behavioral techniques and spirituality from Buddhism. It interweaves individual and community mental care, with respect and humanity.
Professor KA acts as a medical expert for the International Criminal Court for Khmer Genocide. He is the Laureate of the Geneva Prize for Human Rights in Psychiatry 2014.
BETH HEDVA, PHD
Dr HEDVA is a clinical and transpersonal psychologist, award-winning author and co-founder of the Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences, where she trains counseling professionals. She was former Director of the International Council of Psychologists and Canadian Chair of the Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention.
Her approach blends ancient and indigenous cross-cultural healing practices and spiritual traditions with modern psychological best practices, to promote an integrative approach to community health and wellness.
Dr HEDVA was called by United Nations ambassadors and national associations on emergency missions to upgrade psychologists and train volunteer recovery workers : post civil war Sierra Leone, 2004 tsunami disaster in Aceh, 2010 earthquake in Haïti.
M. Finkleman is the chairman of the Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences and seated for a decade at the board of governors for the International Council of Integrative Medicine.
He provides training, consulting and services in advanced areas of psychology, with an expertise in psycho-dynamics and psycho-dramatic therapeutics.
He has given numerous courses and workshops worldwide, including professional continuing education for the International Council of Psychologists and art therapy for masters in psychology at the University of Calgary.
YADANY KIM, PHD
Dr KIM is a medical doctor educated in France, building international collaborations particularly on the fight against malaria. She manages the deployment of governmental sanitation programs worldwide, often operating in risky zones (Pakistan, Djibouti, South Sudan).
She uses hypnotherapy for clinical, psychological and spiritual purposes.
Dr KIM has seated at the World Health Organization.
